The goal of the Social Council is to expand and improve social and recreational activities at St. Joan of Arc Parish, with the aim to build community in a spirit of Christian Fellowship and Evangelization.
Social opportunities pop up throughout the year where people are needed to assist!
Our major event includes FunFest, our annual festival held on the St. Joan of Arc Church grounds. FunFest is always held on Saturday of the weekend prior to Labor Day. We move Mass up to 4:00 pm and the fun begins at 5:00 pm. However, Dan's all-you-can-eat fish and tenderloin fry begins at 4:00 pm. The evening includes children’s games, bounce houses, a DJ, adult tent with Blackjack, Bingo and beer and wine, and the evening ends with an amazing Firework display over Emerald Lake. This is an event you do not want to miss. Many volunteers are needed!
Usually on Divine Mercy Sunday, the Sunday following Easter, an Easter Egg Hunt takes place at St. Joan of Arc after the 11:30 am Mass. This is a huge success and lots of fun for everyone!
