Baptism is birth into the new life in Christ and is the first sacrament of Christian initiation. In accordance with the Lord’s will, baptism is necessary for salvation, as well as to enter the Church. Baptism imprints on the soul an indelible spiritual sign, the character, which consecrates the baptized person for Christian worship.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you†– Matthew 28:19-20
Baptisms are celebrated after the Masses on weekends.
Baptism prep classes are offered on the fourth Thursday of the month from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.
Please contact Suzanne Kearney 865-6684 to register for the class.
