The goal of the Social Council is to expand and improve social and recreational activities at St. Joan of Arc Parish, with the aim to build community in a spirit of Christian Fellowship and Evangelization.

• Family Fun Run – A one mile run/walk around the path that surrounds our beautiful grounds.  It’s a wonderful opportunity for the parishioners to integrate healthy living with their parish community.

Friday, August 28 & 29, 2009

• ST. JOAN OF ARC SUMMER FUNFEST – Our biggest social event of the year will begin with a Friday night Dan’s Fish Fry in conjunction with our Youth Talent Concert.  On Saturday, there will be Monte Carlo, Bingo, Raffles, Children’s Games and Inflatable Rides, a Teen Tent, Live Entertainment, and a Beer Garden. • Chili Cook-off/Grand person’s Night – A special evening dedicated to our young and our young at heart.  All Parishioners are invited to bring a pot of their favorite chili for all to share as we celebrate life in all of it’s stages.  After dinner, pull out your favorite board game or deck of cards join the fun.

Friday, October 16, 2009

• Trunk or Treat – All members of the parish are invited to celebrate.  The children will get all dressed up in their favorite costume and parade around the parking lot collecting treasures and treats from the parishioners’ trunks.  Apple Cider and fall treats will be provided.

• Wine Tasting Fundraiser – An elegant evening of wine sampling, food pairing, and fellowship.   Eighth grade babysitting available.

• Fondue and Little Dippers – A night of Fondue and Fellowship for the adults. Chicken Nugget Dippers and a movie for the kids.  Eighth grade babysitting available.

• World Marriage Day Celebration Dinner – A very special couples mass followed by a romantic evening of dinner and dancing.  Eighth grade babysitting available.
