The goal of the Social Council is to expand and improve social and recreational activities at St. Joan of Arc Parish, with the aim to build community in a spirit of Christian Fellowship and Evangelization.

• World Marriage Day Celebration Dinner – A very special couples Mass followed by a romantic evening of dinner and dancing.  Eighth grade babysitting available.

• Feast of St. Joan of Arc – A celebration of our Patron Saint, St. Joan of Arc, after the 11:00  am Mass. We will have a French theme, focusing on french cuisine and games. We will begin the afternoon of fun with a Marian Procession.

Friday, August 27 & 28, 2010

• ST. JOAN OF ARC SUMMER FUNFEST – Our biggest social event of the year will begin with a Friday night Dan’s Fish Fry in conjunction with our Youth Talent Concert and Bingo.  On Saturday, there will be Monte Carlo, Raffles, Children’s Games and Inflatable Rides, a Teen Tent, Live Entertainment, and a Beer Garden. • Trunk or Treat – All members of the parish are invited to celebrate.  The children will get all dressed up in their favorite costume and parade around the parking lot collecting treasures and treats from the parishioners’ trunks.   All Parishioners are invited to decorate their car/van trunk for Trunk or Treat and to bring a pot of their favorite chili for all to share as we celebrate life in all of it’s stages.  After dinner, pull out your favorite board game or deck of cards join the fun.
