College Events

** Send-Off for Fr. Hasser – Wednesday, June 29th at 6:30pm at SJA fire pit area / west side of property. Father Hasser has been assigned to be the Director of Vocations for our diocese, which will take effect starting July 1st. We want to send him off with what he loves best — college students, food, being outside, games, and music! And he will be giving us what he calls a “Rah-Rah Life” speech. You don’t want to miss this!! We will be indoors in BlJohn Paul II room in case of rain.

** Evening with Fr. Ted – Wednesday July 13th @ 7pm at SJA fire pit area / west side of property. Join us for a potluck dinner. Father will be giving a talk on how to live our faith as we study, followed by time for fellowship and fun! In case of rain, we will be inside in the Blessed John Paul II Room.

** Frassati Society Conference- The annual Frassati conference will be taking place this year at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield Indiana from July 30-July31st. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet more Catholic young adults from all over the area who are striving to dive deeper into their faith. Not only that but they have lined up two wonderful speakers that are young adult Catholic’s themselves: Lila Rose from Live Action and Thomas Peters who runs the blog The American Papist. ** Back to School Bonanza Bonfire – on Thursday, August 11th at 6:30pm, we will be having a cookout to send you all back to school in style with our priests and seminarians. We plan to have it outdoors by the firepit at Saint Joan of Arc, and in case of rain, indoors on the Terrace. Bring a side dish, dessert or snack to share!

***** And if anyone is ever up for Adoration on Thursday evenings from 7-8pm at SJA, followed by ultimate frisbee outside or dinner at Mike’s Pizza, we are always up for that!

Theology of the Body Class

My informal four week class on Blessed John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.  This will be a great chance to discover how we are each called to love, and a good opportunity to understand the Church’s teachings on sexuality and chastity.  Theology of the Body is life-changing, so you don’t want to miss this opportunity!  The classes will be offered on Tuesdays, starting July 19^th until August 9^th at Saint Joan of Arc, Room 342 at 7pm.  And best part – no reading required!
