Natural Family Planning is a term referring to the family methods approved by the Roman Catholic Church. In accordance with the requirements for sexual behavior in keeping with the dignity of the human person, as maintained by the Church, NFP excludes the use of contraception. Instruction to the benefits and know-how of NFP is encouraged to all married couples.

For more information, please contact TA and Heather Weber at 455-2904. All engaged couples will be directed to instruction of NFP.

Refer to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops website for more information regarding the myths and realities of Natural Family Planning: http://www.usccb.org/prolife/issues/nfp/

Also we encourage you to look to Pope Paul VI’s encyclical Humanae Vitae, which addresses the moral and societal problems that arise with the use of contraception: http://www.priestsforlife.org/magisterium/humanaevitae.htm
