Abby Johnson, the former Planned Parenthood director turned pro-life advocate and speaker will be at St. Maria Goretti in Westfield on Wednesday, August 24 to speak about her experience in the abortion industry, and her life in the pro-life movement. For 8 years, Abby was director of the Texas Planned Parenthood abortion center where the first 40 Days for Life campaign was held. After leaving the abortion industry, Abby began to speak about her experiences, and founded “And Then There Were None” to help other abortion workers get out of the abortion business. She came into the Catholic Church in 2013. The event will begin with an hors d’oeuvres reception beginning at 6:00 pm in the parish hall, and the talks beginning at 7:00 pm in the church. There is no charge for admission, but a free will offering is requested with proceeds benefiting The Great Lakes Gabriel Project. For more information about Abby, visit abbyjohnson.org.
