This year’s Spiritual Adoption Campaign (no, you didn’t miss it!) will begin in conjunction with the Feast of the Annunciation which will be celebrated on April 4 this year. Spiritual adoptions will take place next weekend: April 9 & 10. We will then celebrate the birth of our spiritually adopted babies at Christmas when we celebrate the birthday of our Lord and Savior! Just as Mary gave her fiat (yes!) to God, let us give our own enthusiastic “Yes!” when asked to spiritually adopt a baby in danger of abortion this coming year.
Take a few minutes to look at the display of 3,300 pink & blue flags in front of the statue of the Blessed Mother on the south side of the church. This number of flags represents the number of abortions performed each day.
