Advent Bible Study

The season of Advent is a beautiful season of preparation for our Lord and a time where we can reopen our hearts to Him.  During this time of preparation, it is customary to be more aware of God’s presence in our lives through increased prayer and meditation, and some small sacrifice.  In a world where much of the focus of this season is turned toward material things, we must strive to live out in our own lives the true meaning of this time, which is the eager anticipation for our Lord Jesus Christ.  In order to enter into the season of Advent more deeply, I invite you to accompany me on a Bible Study of the Book of Isaiah.  With so many prophecies about Christ, this book has been called the fifth Gospel.  It will be a three week study and there will be two times offered each week: Tuesday 7-8 pm and Friday 9-10 am in the St. Vincent dePaul room (lower level).  Everyone is welcome and the first meeting will be Tuesday, December 1st and Friday, December 4th, so mark your calendars!
